As a miniature painting service, we specialize in custom paint jobs and take orders for personalized paint jobs for your miniatures. To get in touch, please email us at bob@evilbobs.biz. Please note that prices may change without notice.

Customers are responsible for all shipping charges. Since shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the order, this will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, we apply a packing fee of 2% of the value of the painting. Insurance is available upon request, and any costs for insurance as well as import dues and fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Turnaround times for our miniature painting services vary based on the volume of work we have, the timing of conventions, and holidays. Generally, turnaround time for orders tends to be about 9 months or so, depending on the size of the order; however, this can vary. If you're interested in our miniature basing options or would like a more accurate estimate of how long your order will take, please contact us.

We accept cash, check, Paypal, and major credit cards through Paypal for our custom paint jobs. A deposit of 50% is required upfront, with the balance due upon completion of the project, which may include various miniature painting techniques and miniature basing options.

We ship USPS Priority for all orders, including those with custom paint jobs. If you prefer different shipping methods, please reach out to us to discuss alternatives to USPS. We take great care in packing the figures to prevent any damage during transport, ensuring your miniature painting projects arrive safely. Each figure is individually wrapped and any protruding parts are stabilized to minimize the risk of breaking or chipping, though we cannot fully guarantee that no damage will occur. 

If you're attending either Cold Wars, Historicon, or Fall-In, we also offer the option to pick up your figures at the convention, provided we are attending as well. Additionally, we can discuss specific miniature basing options when you pick up your order.

Customers can either supply their own miniatures and bases or choose to have us purchase them. If we acquire the miniatures and/or bases, we will charge the customer for the cost of the figures along with our painting services, which include custom paint jobs and various miniature basing options.

Attaching the miniature to a base involves employing various miniature basing options, such as a simple scheme of flock, stones, and static grass, along with applying both clear-coating and dull coating for the protection of the miniature. 

Prices also include basic assembly for 28mm models. For models with many parts, requiring complex assembly, or for 15mm sized models, the price may be slightly higher. Again, please contact me for details in such cases. 

We specialize in custom paint jobs to a high standard, which some people might refer to as 'Collector' level, or on an arbitrary '1-10' scale, about a '7'. For 28mm figures, most colors are highlighted or shaded, and shields are either hand-painted or utilize decals, where appropriate. We can do eyes upon request, but a small fee may apply for that service. For 15mm figures, this process is somewhat simplified. This isn’t just plain old wargaming standard painting! The quality you see in our Galleries reflects the standard we typically paint to. 

When your order is completed, we will email you pictures of the miniatures. If you approve them, they will be mailed to you. If for some reason, once you receive the figures, you are not satisfied, please contact us within one week to arrange for corrections to the miniatures. If we cannot correct them, we will replace the miniatures if possible and refund any money. If we cannot replace the miniatures, we will purchase them back at the price of the castings when originally purchased, though we will retain the painted miniatures for resale. 

If full payment is not made within 30 days of completion, we shall consider the project abandoned. We may then sell the figures to recoup our time and expenses. Any deposits paid will be forfeit, and we may or may not reimburse the customer for the cost of the figures if they provided them, at our discretion.
